Chess Tournament (K-12)

This is an unrated chess tournament for kids of all ages and skill levels. The event is open to beginners as well as more experienced players, and it aims to provide a environment where children can enjoy playing chess, meet other young players, and gain tournament experience. Pick your level during registration!

The tournament will follow a Swiss format with 4 rounds. This means that all players will participate in every round, and after each round players will be paired with opponents who have similar scores, helping to keep the games fair and competitive for everyone.

Each game will use a 10+0 time control, which means each player will have 10 minutes on their clock to complete their moves, with no additional time added per move.

Medals and Certificates will be awarded to celebrate achievements at the end of the tournament.
